Search Engine Optimisation Report
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the amount of traffic to a web site from search engines via natural or un-paid search results. This is opften referred to as 'organic' growth. Like a plant or other organism your trafiic grows as you feed and water it. SEO stands in contrast to Search Engine Marketing (SEM) which is all about payng for inclusion on a search engine. The theory behind SEO is that the higher a web site appears in search results pages, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. Therefore, the goal is to get the web site to appear higher in search engine search results.
Search Engine Optimization may also target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search and industry-specific search engines.
Optimizing a website involves editing its content and HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines.
